Diana had been drawn to the cave, but she did not know why. She became lost in the warren of tunnels until she saw a light... and a beautiful jewel. She was drawn to it and as her hand touched it... she was possessed by the spirits who had long awaited a new host...Technical and Other Stuff:
I've been fairly busy with life of late so mostly I've been staging work, I have a bunch of pieces that just need to be refined as I have the scenes completed etc.
This was just a practice piece for working with some techniques for blending and playing around with a set of smoke brushes for fun. I had some difficulty with the background originally I was building a background around a tomb/temple feel ... but it just didn't look right ... I went through several others before I found this background. It helped lock the entire concept together. I had already prepped the model with the gemstone... so I just altered colors and played from there
