Description
Migraine stampi suffer from the most brutal headaches known to man, migraines, sometimes it is so bad i cant do anything at all, even lying in bed wide awake and trying to rip my aching skull to pieces before it explodes in my hands is all i can do, i cringe in pain, i vomit, sounds bother me, light bothers me, standing up bothers me, sitting down bothers me, laying down bothers me, there is no peace to be found anywhere and this all happens if i cant get medicated in time BEFORE this torture starts, it can be DAYS of torture, and thereafter days of recovery where i have to be so still and take it so easy not to provoke the brutality to come visit my head again and try to rip it apart again

I was diagnosed with chronic migraines when I was little, and unfortunately they have only gotten worse. The worst I have ever had happened on an international flight, where I had no medicine, no way to make it dark or quite, and had try to keep from puking for about 6 hours. As soon as that plane landed I spent almost half an hour puking my guts out and sobbing. Fun times, fun times.

I've been diagnosed with chronic migraines 3 years ago :C
EVERYTHING in your description is exactly what I experience nearly each day. The longest migraine I had lasted close to 2 weeks. It was during summer school of my senior yr in high school, I had to quit the summer enrollment. The worst 2 weeks of my life...I cried almost everyday until I just gave up and spend most my time in dark places around my house. I felt so lonely and couldn't do anything. Prescriptions would help until they stopped working.
As of now I've gotten so used to my migraines I can get through a normal day with one. At times I feel like how much longer I can take this, but I just get through it unfortunately.
I'm a little happy knowing that I'm not alone, but I wish scientists can find a cure to migraines asap. Nothing can make me happier than that xD <3

Yes, the torture of migraines
But you know the good thing about early onset migraines, getting them while you are a teen or younger, you might get lucky and grow out of them, lets hope!
Have you tried a medicine called naproxen? link to desciption [link]
it is the only drug that worked for me, it is used for migraines, since migraines are a form of inflammation of the blood vessels in the brain.

I know how you feel. I'm genetically hosed with migraine problems. My mom gets the icky classic ones where she gets dizzy and light bothers her. But my dad gets the one with neurological symptoms (Numb limbs, not being able to move, losing vision, etc.). So I guess we're pretty much screwed, eh? I should probably stop typing about this because I've been known to talk myself into a headache just by thinking about them.

numb limbs, forgot that one, sometimes i just sort of pass out on the bed and cannot move during a migraine attack, but that was happening some time ago, i'm so careful now and try to get the meds ASAP when i feel a migraine beginning! you have to be fast or the torture gets you!
and now lets stop thinking about migraines, i dont want you to get one!

Porbably for the best. (Free hugs! 8D) But if I may offer a suggestion, Excedrin will work if you take it as soon as you start feeling numbness.

oh my god I get them too. I literally get the same exact symptoms as you described. Its horrible, especially when I get the ones that last two or three days. Then I cant eat anything because I keep puking...
The worst too is when I puke up the meds for it then its like wtf am i supposed to do now??

there are meds you dont have to swallow, so that is good if you just puke them out, but im just very watchful of symptoms and take meds before it starts, so it gets to be a milder torture,
most of the time when i do feel a migraine coming on i rush to take the pills!

it is stressful,
and lots of people who dont have migraines just dont understand the torture, it's not just a 'headache'
