I love your design and your colors. I do my abstract only with pen! It's great that you work in different mediums and are learning others

Thank you, I've been fooling around with color as of late. I'm mostly a self taught artist and really never had any formal training. So like you I I've been mostly working with copic pens and pencil. I feared working with colors and working with colors demands lots of attention and time, something I wish I had more of but work at this point in my life has to come first. I'm very grateful you like this piece, I really enjoy it too! I'd like to soon start a new painting now that my fear of colors is slowly residing away. I'll will take a look at your gallery soon, I'm sure your works are very exciting and fun!

I hate not having time too! This kind of drawing relaxes me but I don't do enough of it. I think I will be inspired by you and learn to use colors - otherwise my work will stay the same and I have an ambition to develope

Thank you! I still need practice, paintings is not easy for me. I have a wonderful artist friend that is helping me have a better understanding the difference between acrylics and oils. The past 5 years I've just been doing pen and inks.

Thank you! Just enjoyed looking at yours a lot and how well you blended your colors on it, you are an amazing talent! Unfortunately this piece was not picked for the show, I thought it would but instead another older pen and ink abstract turtle I did in 2009 made it in, I was very surprised by that. Perhaps this one will make to a different show... I hope! (-:
