Scott Innes is an American voice actor, author, songwriter, and radio personality, born on October 1st, 1966.His most notable contributions in the animation industry were as the voices of Scooby-Doo and Norville "Shaggy" Rogers in four direct-to-video Scooby-Doo films, as well as for various video games and commercials. He also voiced Scrappy-Doo for the live-action "Scooby-Doo" film that was released in 2002.
After the completion of "Scooby-Doo and the Cyberchase", he was replaced by Frank Welker in the role of Scooby (who also voiced Fred Jones) and Casey Kasem as Shaggy (who made a comeback as the character until his retirement from the role in 2009). When "Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated" was being made, he auditioned for the role of Shaggy, but the role was ultimately handed to Matthew Lillard (who first portrayed the character in two Scooby-Doo live-action film and began voicing the character in 2010).
