Description
I think i spelt the name wrong...fix that later...Any way, this is one of my favorite Mythological creatures. I would say were it came from, but i'm a believer of good ol' "Looking It Up for Yourselfism!!"

Doh, I mispelled Catoblepas when I tried to tell him the correct spelling... how annoying, haha.
But yeah, I agree- it is a lot like megatherium. As far as accurately portraying the creature, I can't say you stayed very true to it, but I think it's pretty obvious that's not what you were going for. It's a cool looking redesign, I think.
BTW, Megatherium didn't have scales, though it did have bone plates under it's skin. (Pretty sure that's what you meant)

Well, to tell you the truth, i was going more for the cholicotheres. And the "scales" are more like rhino horn, which is made out of hair. But thanks!

That's supposed to be a catoblepas? Wow, I'd never have guessed. it looks a lot cooler than the usual version.. an armored-scaled bull with a big heavy head and upward-pointing horns.. and lots and lots of shaggy shaggy fur..
Then again, you got the shag part right, and the head is angled down like a megatherium.. this basically looks like a quadrupedal giant sloth, which is -awesomecool-. In fact, if I'm not mistaken.. megatheria had scales under their fur too..
IN FACT.. if this looks like anything, it looks like a giant sloth mated with a catoblepas and produced this. XD coool!

Hmm...i guess that bull myth is more popular than the other version, where its veiwed more as a boar with scales.
And thanks!!
