Greetings, denizens of the omniverse! I hope you're all enjoying the new year - I mean, hey, two days and it's already a major improvement over last year. Granted, things are still locked down and we're all (hopefully) social distancing, but at least we're all somewhat adjusted to it by now.

But enough about that. If, by any chance, you have a ridiculous amount of time on your hands and have managed to click all the way through the comments section at the bottom of my page or checked out the comments of all of my works, I am both honored and slightly unnerved. But the point I'm trying to make is that I have been asked of my opinion on various Monster High, Ever After High, and even a few Ben 10 pairings over my time here on Deviantart, some which are plausible and reasonable while others lean more towards the crack ship side of things. Nevertheless, I always try to present each and every one as a legitimate pairing where the characters involved have genuine, romantic feelings for one another, rather then getting together for shits and giggles.

Recently, I have been postulated the question of what headcanons I might have for an OT3 pairing between Robecca Steam, Hoodude Voodoo, and Elissabat by , who seems quite attached to this potential pairing for one reason or another. But, I'm not here to judge, I'm here to give headcanons! In regards to what a relationship might be like between these three:

Since Hauntlywood's inception, movie stars and celebrities have started and ended relationships in order to keep themselves in the public eye and retain their fame. This usually means that there is little, if any actual romantic feelings between them, as they're little more than attempts to drum up drama and keep their name in the headlines, for better or for worse. Elissabat wants none of this and therefore always turns down every attempt by fan and fellow celebrity alike for romance; that is, until she meets Hoodude. Our lovable voodoo doll wears his heart on his sleeve and doesn't have an evil bone in his body - making Elissabat happy is what makes him happy, pure and simple, which is something she finds to be both admirable and scary sweet.

In spite of his eccentric and clumsy behavior, Hoodude actually has a surprisingly good memory in that ball of yarn he calls a brain. He goes to great lengths to remember any and everything of importance about Elissabat and Robecca, even if it's as little as a throw away comment. Robecca mention that her rivets her too tight? Hoodude goes out and buys her an entire box of ones that are bigger and more comfortable. Elissabat mentions that she never got to try a clawsome dessert on her last trip to Goreway? You better believe he'll spend three hours slaving away in the kitchen trying to make the damn thing for her.

Originally, Elissabat and Robecca find that they don't have much in common, since the former is a world famous movie star and more than acclimated to the modern world and the latter still uses a typewriter to write all of her essays and reports. That is, until Robecca discovers that Elissabat knew her father and, in fact, played a part in her creation with the theft of the Vampire's Heart jewel. The two of them spend a lot of time talking about Robecca's dad - well, Elissabat tells her about him because she sadly doesn't remember him that well after her crash - and eventually grow close.

During one of her visits to Elissabat, someone high up in the Hauntlywood hierarchy sees Robecca perform one of her stunts and immediately hires her on as a stuntmonster to work in the film industry. Elissabat, of course, uses her fame and power as a celebrity to pull a few strings and help her ghoulfriend get into some of the most critically acclaimed movies of the year, a suspicious number of which also starred Elissabat as the lead role. Hoodude of course, is bustling away on the sidelines, helping his ghouls keep track of their busy schedules, getting them fresh coffee, or offering them a quick massage between takes; in short, he acts like their personal assistant, and they couldn't appreciate him more.

The circumstance that finally ties the knot of the situation however, is when a stunt during shooting goes wrong and Robecca suffers another fatal accident. Both Elissabat and Hoodude are so devastated that they refuse to get back to work until Ghoulia can come back down and put her back together again; since she fixed Robecca up in the first place, they don't trust anyone else. But after she's all good as new, they don't let her get back to doing what she loves. Being a robot, injuries don't take as long to heal - just replace what's broken, and you're ready to roll. But Hoodude and Elissabat seemed to have forgotten about that and refuse to let her perform any kind of stunt. Sure, some of the more dangerous ones, like jumping Elissabat's house or falling hog-tied out of an airplane, make sense, but then they don't even let her go down to the skatepark. It's when they stop her from even leaving the house that she puts her foot down and tells them that, while she appreciates their concern and care, they are being overbearing, overprotective, and more than a tad ridiculous. The three of them all reconcile after Robecca promises to take extra precautions and get a few safety features installed in herself if they back off and the relationship is in full bloom! Nothing like a tragedy to bring them all together, right?

That about wraps it up! Yes, I know the quality isn't the best - believe me, I've tried. I'll probably get around to make a digital (and colored) version of this, but at the moment it isn't at the top of my priorities. Regardless, for any Monster High fans out there, what's your OTP?
