wow, I tried to shoot some lighting the other night, and my result was 5 million black pixels.
This is definitely a more interesting shot
I love the contrast between the orange of the road, with the blue of the lightning, and the space of the sky with the density of the city.
Excellent work, now do a macro of the lightning bolt

I don't know...I really like the dark empty space. It draws your eyes downward focusing them on that amzing capture of lightning. Great shot

Love the image.. but come on photoshop or Paint shop is written all over this. long exposure and lighning flashes in the backround you would have lost some of the definition in the horizon, even at f12..
