Thanx 2 ~snapsalot for the phone call at 04:00 am warning this storm was on the way. It travelled from Bacchus Marsh to St.Albans in about 20 mins. The Bureau of Meteorology advised this storm didnt drop much rain and was travelling at about 100 km/h.Related content

It really would be a literal life saver if someone came up with a way to harness this. I have run the idea past a friend of mine that works at Powercor, but it still comes down to technology or governments

30 seconds, 8 glasses of bourbon in, very early in the morning and having to start work in 2 hours, iso was 100 i think, aperture i think always goes to 5

15 secs exposure + luck - you dont know how many i missed either from not pointing in the right direction or from when my camera was going through the long exposure noise reduction process - but o well , still i'm was jumping for joy after getting these 2 lightning shots
