Nurturing: Newly hatched chicks are very adorable, and very vulnerable! Charlie has made it her duty to look after the little pom-poms that grew legs - and a face -, but it doesn't stop at cute little chickens, oh no. New Ewe? NURTURE. New chicken? NURTURE. New bed? NURT- Oooh, pretty!
Excitable: "Ooh, there's new food?! NEW DRY FOOD YAY" Charlie often takes the smallest things, such as the refilling of her food-bowl, to the next level with excitement. This does make her an.. interesting dog to be around, and anything new or interesting will be thoroughly inspected and excited over.
Loyal: Her owner is above all else, a thought against her never crossing her mind. Although sometimes too loyal - she tends to over-do a good portion of her job and stick to her owner's side - Charlie's loyalty will never falter.
Hard Worker: Charlie works to her fullest potential, and because of this she often doesn't know when to take a break. Her owner ends up checking on her frequently to make sure she's not over-working herself. As she loves her work, Charlie will make it clear when she thinks it's time to move the Ewes, often pacing the fly-screen door that opens onto the porch or barking in quick successions.
Protective: Whenever there's something new on the farm, whether that new thing be a bag of feed or a new herd of Ewes, she's always on the case. One time there was a dog roaming the pastures and Charlie was the first to pick it up, quickly alerting her owner to the intruder. She doesn't stop to wonder what that dog could've wanted, all she wants to do is keep her owner safe.
Energetic: It's very rare to find Charlie lazing about in the shade or under the porch, she's always doing something active. However, just because she's being active doesn't always mean she's doing something worthwhile. She could be chasing the chooks across the paddock or searching for those strange tall creatures that sometimes wander the pastures. The creatures are very noisy runners, and every time she hears them running she hides under the porch.

Pre-Group History: As a pup, Charlie was brought up by a pedigree kennel. Her parents (and other resident Kelpies) were treated well by the owner. The Kennel is located in Australia, and her owner, a livestock keeper, also comes from the Land Down Under. Soon after her adoption, she and her owner moved to Canidale and set up a large acreage, dedicated to the care of livestock. Charlie helps to keep the place running smoothly, helping her owner move sheep to different paddocks and round them up for shearing. Not to mention she always finds time to chase the resident Rooster, Garlic. Charlie's farm doesn't have any other canines on it, so she enjoys going with her owner to the markets and fairs so that she can interact with other dogs. Although being the only canine doesn't affect her too much, she will look forward to these occasions when she can interact with others of her kind. Sometimes her owner hires people to shear the sheep, even helping to bring the herd in sometimes. Charlie tries her best, but is always watching the more experienced sheep-dog whenever they're around.

Other: Charlie works on a sheep farm, however despite the labeling, the property is also home to a couple of horses and around two dozen chickens [of various breeds]. The property is large, and somewhat represents the Australian Outback. There are plenty of Dams, located in large, rather dry, grassy paddocks with small groves of mature "Red Gum" Eucalyptus.
