I'm just getting into transformers and I'm still trying to figure out how to put an OC together in the inevitable event that I want to create one. Drawing robots is already gonna be difficult enough for me bc it isnt my strong suit but I was so lost as to where to start working on designing one, partially because it seems so daunting looking at all the fine details vehicles and mechanical stuff with lots of details was never something I was the best at. If nothing else this experience could provide decent practice. This is gonna be so helpful for me. Thank you so much. ;w;

This helped me so much considering my OC is a triple-changer that can turn into both a dragon and a car. It helped me learn where to put certain features on her body which is what I was really struggling with.

I FINALLY FOUND ONE...I'VE LITERALLY BEEN DRAWING RANDOMLY AND NEEDED TIPS BUT MY MOM IS SUCH AN ASSHOLE SHE BLOCKED ALL WEBSITES WITH TIPS AND HELP I NEED AND MY MAIN DRAWING APP...DOESNT HAVE ARTISTS THAT CAN ACTUALLY DRAW TRANSFORMERS OR ROBOTS OR ANYTHING COMPLICATED FOR THAT MATTER...IM JUST SO EXCITED TO TRY OUT THESE REALLY, REALLY HELPFUL TIPS IM TYPING IN CAPS, SORRY..

usually when i sketch out transformers i find that they look...more like a mechanical human rather than a cybertronian robot. do you have any tips on how to fix this, so to speak? ;o;
it gets even more difficult with characters that are supposed to be smaller/lighter armored, since it's a bit more intimidating for me to add more to the character's design..

Hm - the best solutuion I can think of is analysing what you feel makes a cybertronian look cybertronian and apply these deails to you sketch. as in more volume and blocky shapes in certain body parts or a more angular look to the faces. It's ususally details that make things look right.
It might also help to change the basic shape you use, in the means of not using the basic human proportions - changing the shape and volume of, for example - torso or legs, before adding armor can already change the entire look. try experimenting what shapes create what look - it mgiht help you to get closer to what you are looking for ^^

This tutorial is extremely helpful, but i cant get the poses right. And how my character is designed i just cant draw him right! I would appreciate some help in designing him and drawing him correctly. Please, i beg for your help.

It depends on what kind of help you need exactly or what you expect me to do ^^ I cannot draw for you outside commissions and the tips I know of are to be found in these tutorials ^^
