They're pretty quiet, unless you put them in a cage with a Nightwing. Then they might chirp excitedly every so often, and gradually become less shy.
Be careful if you let them room with a Superboy. At first the pair will argue like *crazy* but.. if you can wait out that period, they'll be learning from each other and escaping the cage enjoying life as partners.
