The Mongolian Death Worm, or Allghoi Khorkhoi, is said to be a two- to five- foot long bright red worm that lives in the Gobi Desert. Locals say that it can spit a dangerous acid at its prey or use electricity to zap enemies. (Sounds like some sort of Pokemon! Trainers, ready your ultraballs!) This creature is thought to be just a myth, however.

That mouse thingamajig is supposed to be a jerboa, but I don't really know what they look like.
