Even though there's not much visually going on in this picture. Just from the subtle expression, I'm getting a lot of emotion from this. Her eyes especially speak out to me. I'm feeling a sense of desperation. Even though she seems to be shrouded in darkness, she sees a glimmer of hope and that is why she's calling for help. So much can be drawn from this photo! Great job!

I like the deep emotion in this. You're not too sure where it comes from... did she lose someone? Was she rejected by someone? Is she battling an addiction? Loosing a home? Job? Loosing control of her life?
Either way, you see there's a struggle, but this is one moment of pause within the storm.

I really like how the expression is given. It can really show physical pain, yet it can also show mental pain, such as if she had lost one that she really loved.
