If you're still wondering, I have an answer for you--I think! I use CS2 (kinda old, but I got it for free so whatever). I hope this helps!
Starting from the beginning, through step 2:Β
First upload your picture or paste it or whatever you want to do. Then Select that layer and go up to "Layer" on the top bar menu, click and then go down the list to "New Adjustment Layer". Then click "Brightness/Contrast...", from there a menu will pop up where you can name your adjustment layer and select the opacity and a few other things. You'll want to click the box next to "Use Previous Layer to Create Clipping Mask". Once you click that, you can change the brightness/contrast levels. From there, you have to click on the paint bucket tool (G) and then press (Q) or "Edit in Quick Mask Mode", if you already know where that is. You'll need to have it set on black paint before clicking the image again. That will make it look like the original, as if the Brightness/Contrast hasn't been changed. Then you can click on the paint brush tool, switch it to white paint, and paint the iris to make it look bright.
It took a while of experimenting to find this--hope it helps!

you just have to download it, run the program to install it, and you're free to go! You open the file, and a message shall appear telling you to buy the program or something like that. Ignore it (click on close) and then open the folder. Then you can see the images.

Thanks for the tut... Starting to see why ppl dont want to do them. I am sure its a bit tough trying to put it in words. And you cant please everyone... especially when there are more than 1 operating systems involved.
For once I am actually happy that I have windows vista, CS3 and a program that opens zip and rar. Now all I need is a sprinkle of talent and will be all set.
