I sat one night just sketching and making different drawings and one of them turned into this.Link and Midna from Twilight Princess.

The colouring/shading/lighting on this one is superbe! You've really moved in terms of colouring, so it's good to see your hard work really started to pay off! Was it one of your main things to practice with this peice? I see it was a sketch that just randomly came to you, so I'm happy to see you made finished work out of it...Ā
Love Midna for being such a snarky little thing every so often... She's right though. She holds power over Link until he understands how to jump dimensions on his own, lol xDĀ

I'm really happy to hear you think I'm improving. When you draw all the time you don't always notice stuff like that, or at least you sometimes forget. But yes this was just practice, I actually just wanted to see if I could draw Link and this is what it turned out to become.Ā
Yeah Midna is so awesome, definitely my favorite companion from any Zelda game, so far at least.Ā (y)

Indeed, it is hard to track ones own process when you're working with it, hands on. Sifting through some old drawings can be helpful though. I try to not discard my old things, as I believe progress should be visible to others, as it is sometimes a great motivation! Keep up the good work... It's going to be my source of remembering that I should definitely call you more often when I move C=Ā
Well, I don't like Midna's paroles too much. They're very leading/guiding, so it's not always great reading. The way she behaves, however, her character, is quite interesting! It's better than the frickin' ball of light always screaming HEEEEY at your face xDĀ
