Lately I've been working on some MDF scenery to get back into the painting habit.This is a scenery kit by TTCombat, check out their website here: ttcombat.com/
These are the Generators from their Sci-Fi Utopia range: ttcombat.com/collections/sci-f…
I painted them up to fit with the Warhammer 40k aesthetic of damaged and abandoned settings.
On the ducts going into the generators I tried something new, I gave them the look of glowing plasma coils.
In my mind the generators either produce or require energy, so I figured it would fit the 40k universe.

The generators are probably the best. As a non-existant piece of machinery, you can't really raise a point about how they should not look like that.
The desing is solid, though I think it could use some imperial iconography. Nice paintjob, too.

They really are a nice kit, and all that for around €10 for 2.
There is some text etched into the sides of the generators, but I deciced to not fill that in.
I'm personally not the biggest fan of imperial iconography.
If I'd add some markings I'd add Ork related things, since in my mind the Orks raid it all and make it their own.
