Description I've always been a big fan of Jimi's music and really loved this photo of him, so I decided to give it a shot on canvas...

I painted this using acrylics, and some watercolor, trying to get in all the different shades of purple and pink that I possibly could. I added in a little hot orange and gold for accent here and there, and this is what I came up with....

I remember running across this piece awhile ago, and it has always stuck in my mind. The colors, and the way the light hits his face. Breathtaking.
