Gwenpool aided Batroc to orchestrate her escape from the RAFT in order for her to compete in Taskmaster-Bison’s international tournament. Gwen became friends with Juri at the tournament when she found out Juri was pregnant with Batroc’s child.

Juri was about to challenge Sakura for the fact that she had inherited the Iron Fist from Ryu and Danny Rand. As she stretched her toes and prepared to face Sakura, it started to rain and Gwenpool covered Juri with an umbrella.
