I'm not completely satisfied with his right eye though this is the best I could do. The perspective is just very difficult and was a real challenge. Hope you like it anyway.I wonder what he is thinking though...

I think... That he's missing Squall because he's on a mission and has been away too long. And Squall gave him Griever to promise his return. XD Yup yup. At least,.... its a guess.

Oh, Ruthie. It's LOVELY! The gentle curve of his neck and the tilt along the arm, the composition is beautiful. And his face - don't worry about the right eye, it's fine. You barely notice its even there, much less that there could possibly anything wrong with it. (which I don't see) The smooth light and shadows really soften his face and draw out the eyes...
And you have to be the only person I've ever met who could make an armpit look elegent.
The shine on the metal manages to be even more seamless than the face, emphasising the realistic metal appearance. The lined background focuses on the soft motion in the figure while at the same time bringing notice to the parallell line in the griever pendent chain.
The curl bang ending just far enough from the scar to be disconnected, but just close enough it connects the eye, it wonderful, not to mention the shiny goodness of his hair.
Much as I love my Shivas, I think you've made me a new favorite.

I had to look up the word "armpit" hahaha
Usually I try to avoid to draw things like that - like you said these body parts aren't very aesthetic and I'm such fanatic when it comes to things like that.

1. The eyebrows come together and curve up at the inside.
2. The eyes become big and childlike
3. The lips and sometimes the chin shake.
Think of it as when a character becomes chibi in anime and manga, they go small and their eyes are super huge and cute.

Poor Seifer, he looks like he lost his lion. I almost feel like crying for him. Don't worry about the eye, it looks fine. If you change it you might lose that "I'm lost" look.
