Neither the Aliance nor King Varian would ever evacuate Stormwind, we would fight to protect our home and destroy the Blackrock Horde filth.

Its one thing to Stand and Fight to the end, but when Most of your army is away, and thier is a larger force of Orcs who on average can take on 2 footman at once, Combine this with the dragons, It would be wiser to leave the city and come back again, at least then its just a simple matter of rebuilding, however if they stay then most of the People will be Killed or Devoured, and the City would be Laid to Ruin regardless.
And if its people are killed off then the Last Vestages of Humanity will be so weak and dispursed that Humanity will ceace to function as a race and so in turn will have hardly any power in the grand scheme of things, and without Humanity, the Alliance Will die, and without the Alliance, Azeroth will Die, Because the Horde for all of thier Bravado cannot take on Everything.

Who would rebuild Stormwind? I think most people with that kind of skill would outright refuse considering the ruling class gypped the last guys who rebuilt the place out of their agreed upon payment.

I think people know by now, that the only reason the workers got gyped is because a black dragon was screwing things up, that and the Workers who became the Defias became so consumed by the desire for revenge that they didn't give a damn about anyone but themselves.
its one thing to want justice, but its entirely another to hurt everyone else in said quest for justice, then its not justice anymore, its a vendetta.
And I highly doubt that the People Of Stormwind are that Stupid, like so many people think they are, cept the ones in westfall, those ones are just.....Dumb.....

I agree he would be like the Ace of the Alliance, But hey lets face it, King Varian is a total badass and is NOT a raving lunatic gorilla like garrosh is, or an Evil manipulative bitch like Slyvanas is.
King Varian Wrynn FTW!!!

Ummm...Varian has multiple personality disorder, one of his personalities is a beserking lunatic, and he has been losing control over his other personality.
Not to mention that little bit of insanity involving his raid on Ironforge.
Yeah. Garrosh may be a violent individual, and Slyvanas is the Litch King 2.0, but you can anticipate their actions. Varian? He's a diplomatic incident with the Alliance factions waiting to happen. No telling when his other personality would consider the other Alliance leaders a threat.

Varian Would sooner Die than Cause Any Harm to his Son, his People, His Kingdom, or the Alliance.
The reason he Tried to kill off Moira is because he honestly beleived that it was the only way to keep Ironforge from being taken over by the Dark Irons, who since the War of the 3 hammers, have really done nothing to help anyone but themselves, and so in turn it would have Caused Ironforge to turn into a possible enemy.
And on a More personal level, she took his son Anduin Hostage, and like I said in my last post, He Loves his Son, more than his own life.
Infact he loved his Family so much that when his wife died, he became depressed, course Onyixa tried to keep him depressed with her draonic Magic, but it was a combo of Varian's Will, his devotion to his Kingdom, and His sheer love for his Son that brought him out of it.
Which is why during the events of the Novel Stormrage, when his Son became one of those who would not wake up because they were trapped in the Nightmare, He felt like his World collapsed around him
when the forces of the Emerald Nightmare began attacking Stormwind in the Waking world, he saw not monsters or an enemy that he could cut down without feeling pain himself, No instead he saw his Son and Dead Wife, and they looked undead to him.
see the nightmare manifested itself as each person's greatest fears, they are different for each person, some see scourge, some see orcs, some see giant spiders, but for Varian he saw not any Orcs, or Horde race, No he instead saw his Son and his Dead Wife, and Entire Army of undead Anduin and Tiffen Wrynns. that is his greatest fear, to see his beloved Family turned into something so horrific, and combine this with the fact that his Kingdom and people were under siege and there was nothing they could do to stop it.
Varian in turn Reverted to his Lo'gosh personality, and because he was desperate, he blamed the only ones he could think of at the time, because according to Alliance Intel, the only remaining threat to the Alliance at the time was the Horde.
but when Malfurion told Varian and his Men to sleep so that they could fight in the Emerald dream, he was told to Lead an Army of Sleepers against the Nightmare in the Emerald Dream, at first he Rejected it since there were Horde there as well, but Malfurion told him that for the sake of his son and his people, he had to lead them all,
Varian was Fighting Himself inside him mind at this moment, his two personalities warring with each other but in the end, His love for his son, and his people Won out, over his hatred of the Horde.
So you see, Varian is actually ALOT more Human than What the Generic Player-base makes him out to be, the Generic player-base only looks at him at face-value, they see his hate of the Horde and his rough looks as the makings of a Villian, where infact he is more or less like Batman, He is willing to get his hands dirty to protect his loved ones and his people, but he will not Become Evil in the process.
That and more than half of those who give him the Villian bat are Die-hard Horde Players. so yeah...
Don't judge someone at face-value, look deeper than that.

So you picture in you're head, like so many people do because they take things at face-value, and choose not to look deeper into things.
And No where does it state in the Lore or in the Shattering Novel that he is losing control over his Lo'gosh personality, He Only ever switches into it, when Horde have done something bad to the Alliance, Or when someone is Threatening his Son or his People,
Varian is more or less, The Over-protective Father and King, because his own life has been such shit, even if he is a King, Power does not create happiness, so in turn he wants to keep his Son, His people, and his faction Safe from ALL Threats.
and just like a parent would, they do not think things through when it concerns that which they love and try to protect, they will do ANYTHING to Protect it.
Yes Varian has a Split-personality disorder, but rembember this was caused by Magic, and in time, it can most likely be fixed by Magic in turn.
And you only think that he is un-predictable, but like I said before, Varian or more or less like the overprotective Father, to all that he cares for.
You cannot bash him for that, otherwise you are pretty much bashing parents all over the world who try to protect those they love.
Varian is Human, he is not a dry, bland, sterotypical Angelic King, no he is more Human than that, he has Flaws, but he is No Monster, if he were, well he would be Another Arthas, and he is not.
