No tone on this one. Didn't want to risk not having enough time.Anyway, this is important to Ned's character in that you can see how his mind operates at least a little bit. This is his reaction to a traumatic experience.
It's a hint to what might have happened in his past. He really doesn't realize it though.

It's not like he can help it--It's a mental thing, pretty prevalent since the Clinic incident and somewhat attributed to his status as amnesiac as well as some other mental things that I'm not supposed to talk about right now.
If he gets to the end, you'll see it all come together.

Ya know, reading over your comments in the past pages as opposed to the comments of other people, I'm pretty sure you're the only one (commenter at least)who actually kind of understands Ned's condition.

I think you did a splendid job with his condition. It's said multiple times he has a bit of a paranoid fit, all the mentions of the institution, bad memory and fuzzy thoughts, and his mind wondering.
Plus that Ned seems to be a genuinely good hearted guy it seemed logical to me. Perhaps people who reading into what they hoped more than looking at it and wondering how it played into the story. That's what I like about most stories like this.
