And here we have reached the end of round 2.What does this mean? You'll have to find out later, if I make it into later rounds. XD But for now, Ned is continuing his journey and as far as he knows, it's the way it was in the beginning. Just him and Lucy and DJVoice. But like in the first round, that's not exactly true, is it.

Fantastic job in this round. I love the dynamic between the two scientists and hope this isn't the last page we see with the pair of them (not counting Serains round 2 of course). Hope to see more of Ned and possibly Birdie in round 3.

Oh good, it looks like Birdie will reappear at some point. I wonder why he shows such an interest in Ned? Is it because he's the first "human" that he's seen in awhile, or is it something more?

Throughout the comic you'll realize that the Birdie/Ned relationship is different from the other Birdie/anybody else relationships. Anybody who thought that Birdie was going to kill Ned either didn't get what I was writing or misinterpreted the character...he's not the way that most people perceive him to be, is what I'm going at.
Birdie has his own agenda and his own reasons for doing the things that you see him doing--such was the way with the "cure", and such is the way now. I'm not explaining him.

Great page btw. and a thing that is full of suck is that I'm gonna have to buy a 2nd hand tablet T_T. My hubby says that I'll have to limit it to under $100 or I cant get the monitor he plans for me. (It'll be around $120 for the monitor from newegg.)
Maybe once I wont have to deal with my scanner I can get as good as you Crispy.

So is the bamboo fun good for doing the sketching, drawing and painting too? I do have PSCS4 though. I should probably spring for Corell painter at some time. But I've also been looking at [link]

I'd recommend the bamboo fun rather than those tablets in your link, mostly cuz i know from experience that spending _too_ little on a tablet definetely doesn't guarantee quality. Wacom's one of the best brands around, and even if expensive their products are, in my opinion, the best on the market. I've never had problems with my tablet, as i said before, and i think that sketching and painting can be done on any tablet if you have the skills : /
Never buy any Trust product though, i bought a tablet by them once and it literally broke in two in not even half an year. Poor thing.

Then so far I've gotten the recommendations of wacom, wacom and more wacom.
I was looking at the Genius brand too but idk how good it is. There are some good reviews and some bad so I'm just confused on which to get. @_@
And how big of a surface would be recommended for a first timer? I'm looking at the 4x5.5 and the 3x4ish ones but I'm tossed up. Does a bigger drawing surface mean an easier time drawing?

Depends on how big a surface you are used to draw on irl, in my opinion. I like to work on A4 sizes and smaller, and bamboo fun's the smaller size you can find by wacom i think 9 A 9
I think a small tablet would be better for a first timer, mostly cuz the bigger the tablet, the more expensive, and also cuz it's easy to get used to it and it's quite handy to take around if ever needed, thanks to its size. On the other hand, if irl you are used to big surfaces and can't work on small, i suggest that when you go shopping for it you try your hand at it by picking it up and tryin the pen on it a few times 9 < 9
