Ned threw it behind him. Aaron just picked it up off the ground. *shrugs* I figured it would have been easy enough to figure it out.

yeah I sorta figured it out. just would have made more sense seeing him pick it up then it magically being in his hands.

It also would've added more panels to draw and color and fix into a page. I figured that the audience is capable of filling in blanks and that I don't have to lead them around so much that the fact that the locket wasn't shown being picked up would throw them off too much.

just one panel would have worked for me. a hand picking up the locket.

but I'm not really complaining, it's great the way it is.
It's just a thought. your figuring is probably right, I just read a lot of comics, so I'm just used to things like that being shown, doesn't mean they have to.

It didn't throw me off too much, just momentarily.
