Description Marina sent me a note asking about it and I needed something to distract me from the important stuff.

She sent me a note...a couple hours ago XDDDDD SO THIS WAS PRETTY QUICKLY TOSSED TOGETHER.

But yeah. It's how I work yo.

And I guess I have to get back to work. :C How unhappy-making.

Good heavens! How do you manage to draw those page thumbnails so small? That's incredible!

This was super-useful! I've only got Ps CS3 so I like hearing from comic artists who don't have the usual professional suite of illustrator/photoshop/corel and use all three to gussy up their stuff. Thanks for the run-through!

...but I don't want to go away! ;A;

Thanks for the tutorial/thing.

Very interesting, you could use several of those steps to write actual stories!

...I AM writing actual stories. Unless you're saying something about the art of comic making.

I meant for writing novels, I didn't mean to say that comics aren't actual stories, sorry.

Thank you very much, I've got about 4 for-fun comics under my belt, so this will be great to excersise on.
it's not a tutorial - they're guidelines, matey!

AH!

At last!

That's something too rare here on DA: a tutorial about COMICS. Most of the time, tutos are about the technique and stuff like that. But being able to draw awesome doesn't mean you can make awesome stuff.

That's something every artist should be able to do. And for doing a meme about that, you have my thanks and admiration.

pretty interesting!
i'm not drawer, but this last april i tried to do Script Frenzy (like NaNoWriMo, but for scripts) and i got in my head to do a comic book script. five pages in i'm like, "What the hell was I thinking?"
anyway, i think that if i had used this method, the whole thing would have been alot more enjoyable.

As for the preview-ness, I can only say one thing.

"I STOLE ze BABY!"
If you know what book/movie that's from, you get so many uberpoints I might pass out.(Gee, might the character who says that be close to my heart?)

I've been asking so many of my artist friends about their process lately and getting very few answers and here's the answer to my questions! Thank you for this~!

We do it in a very similar way! Yours wind up looking better but... shh.
My friends always look at my scripts and say "those little blobs are where people go? The letters stand for names? How the Hell do you remember what's what?"
