Sometimes they'd spend hours locked away in an office, looking over evidence and case files, working out leads and theories. Dinner came and went in little chinese take out boxes, growing in slow piles on Damon's desk after the wastebasket filled. A thirst for justice kept them going.And coffee.
Lots and lots of coffee.

Because they were the Legendary Duo once upon a time. Because I like thinking that they had to earn that title being partners, and being partners had to earn each others trust and work as a team. Because I think that Damon was once noble and was well-respected for a reason other than fear, back when he was a detective. Because I like thinking that the reason Damon's betrayals later on had weight was because of their partnership and friendship and trust.
because I fucking love these two. Because Damon gant couldn't get out of my head. Because I want to look at Gant as something other than Mr. "mindfuck rapist" (and because I believe he is and was more than just that).
Because I wanted to kill myself attempting to do more scenery with perspective >:I Because I need a MOTHERFUCKING BREAK AUUUUUUUUUUUUGH

I seriously love your interpretation of how Gant used to be, I was always thinking along the same lines and I love to see when he's like this, versus the about to rape you in the swimming pool stuff. It's really fun to theorize about XD Also good work with the perspective on this one~

Because every time you draw Gant, I feel myself liking his character more and more. Especially for that Chinese take out. Oyy, holding those hashi all correct and those take out boxes are always awesome. And amuse the heck outta me. Like foil balls for a cat.

Because your perspective is good and backgrounds detailed and all those tiny, tiny details, from the 'Have a nice day' on the bulletin board to the paperclip on the desk, really add life to your art and this picture?
..Maybe that cup on the left is going to tip good god it's leaning so is that the Blue Badger? Again, I am astounded. And Gant's drinking that blue coffee blend thing, right?
Anyways, very nicely done. Love Lana's clothes and the fact that Gant's stripped down to pretty much informal as well. It makes them human, and that's really what we crave in a character. I guess.
