Today was surprisingly unproductive, and that always makes me sad. BUT it was also George's birthday. So I decided to take a break and cheer up.
Watched THe Concert for George. Thinking of George and his son Dhani, just doodled this. Happy 68th, you old codger.

Tearjerker. Absolute tearjerker. Still love it. Its simplicity, its natural feeling... That "I know about N******r (the forbidden month), but now, let's just not think of it" mood. The characters both look so... Serene, I guess it's the right word. They both seem well aware of *censored by Please-Don't-Cry agency*, but aren't thinking about it. Simply beautiful.

This is so sweet. I watched the Concert as well. Dhani is so much like his father that it is crazy. I think my favorite part though was when someone started throwing Jelly Babies at the stage in honor of George.

oh, i knew right from the thumnail that was Dhani, i've been watching the concert dvd all day while i've been working... he really looks just like his dad.
btw, within you without you is my favorite beatlesong ever. always been partial to his compositions.
