^^ Made this on the bus to and from LuleΓ₯. I made the full-figure picture on my way there, and the rest on my way back.I really like the different expressions. And I've realized that a good thing with Soy is that I don't have to worry about trying to make his eyes symmetrical
But then again, it's a bit harder to create good expressions with only one half of his face.XD; That eye and the mouth at the bottom right corner looks weird together. It was just supposed to be a zoom to get the details about his eyes and fangs, but it looks like a warped face... Oh well...
I think I'll ink this later and use it (or at least the facial expressions, the tattoo and the sword and dagger) for his character reference-sheet. I'm still not sure about the clothes... Need to experiment a little, I think.

o: I had completely forgot about this one. I have to make new ones when I've finished Nightmare... which I /have/ to work on this weekend XC Blah. It's hard to try to draw in a style that isn't really my own. ^^ Marcus wanted a semi-realistic, like Marvel style, but I can't really draw that, so we compromized and decided on a mix between marvel and my own style. It's going to be fun to see how it works out, but doing it is a pain D=

Oh, Sofie, it's hard to draw in a style that is't your own, but that's what changes your real style to make it better then before. That's what I've learned over three years ^^
How long is it? 16 pages or something? You could do three a day and four on the last day, it could take about five to eight, due to a diffrent style. You can do it!

Yeah, I know. It's just annoying to have to constantly think about how to draw the faces. It takes my focus away from the composition D= Eyes must not be too big and the nose must not be pointy. Maaah, I can't wait until I can draw Nightmare himself XD He's black all over, with only the eyes visible, so I just have to worry about making the silhouette look good =3
I just hope I don't get stuck at drawing faces the way I'm drawing them here. They're far too square and ugly D= Marvel. Ew.
Yeah, it's 16 pages long, and I'm just going to follow the layout I made x_x I'm sick of this comic, but I want it to be finished. Bleh. I'll see how many pages I can get done this weekend. Then I'm going to celebrate =3

Yeah, I don't like the style used there at all. D= What's interesting with guys with biceps the size of ponies or legs like freaking marble pillars? I'm amazed they can even move o_o;; Or what about the girls with balloons taped to their chest..? e_e; Seriously, it's just silly. But I'll manage. I have to, even if I'm not getting paid a single cent for this torture D= -sigh- I'm not going to sell this cheap again. u_u

I have no idea. And how the hell do their clothes manage to get in /under/ them and still not break the pattern of whatever symbol or design they are wearing? e_e; Then again, the target group for the Marvel comics are pre-teen and teenage boys... Go figure.
Yeah, I know. I'm doing this out of the goodness of my heart and in the hopes of someone noticing my work. Fredrik, one of my teachers at the comic school, said that I'd probably raise the standards of the artists for that magazine if I got in there XD; which probably was meant as a compliment for me and an insult to the magazine. Fredrik doesn't like people who take advantage of artists =3
