Description This particular piece of artwork is basically a compilation of the rest of the material for "A Loose Connection"; a friend's movie. This basic collage look will be featured on the DVD cover and the poster, although the final version will have photoshop effects layered on top. I thought I would post this as it's a cleaner look, and all done in Illustrator.

The movie itself is a 7 minute or so short that I helped out on not too long ago.

Ya know, I hope the movie lives up to the DVD artwork.

All of this work is really nice. I love the greyscale with just the little spot reds for colour. All around good stuff...you're really showing off your versatility in Illustrator.

Great work and choice of colours. You did the TVs' noise in illustrator too? wow

Actually the noise was photoshop... I should have mentioned that. I used a blank white image to start, added noise, and then put on a filter (I can't remember which one right now - it was one of the pixelation ones). I imported it into Illustrator then and used clipping masks, and added more Illustrator object overtop for variety.

damn, really nicely put together. All the elemtns fit nicely and overlap without anything being cut off or looking overcrowded. Nice to see you can do super clean and simple vectors as well as your insanely realistic and geniusly complex cars! Love the super simple and basic lighting effects on the screens, your lighting spot on!!

Good job! you'll have to post some screeneis of the finished dvd menus/covers once it all gets put together, I'd love to see the finished article.

Killer stuff once more... your becoming my favourtie artist on DA at the mo

Higher or lower? haha

This stuff isn't as photo-realistic, but then I didn't really want it to be. I hope it's up to snuff!

higher for sure... but still not in the top gear. For an artist... there is no top gear... we just keep racing to the hieghts
