Tara's Older look rocks, though she looks so sad. I just want to give her a hug.
Great perspective on the "defeat" picture. I didn't think Tess would believe that strongly in fate.
Also I wouldn't put Tara in the center of the frame (the cover image looking thing). It'll suck the interest right out of the picture to have everything so symetrical.

Tara's been through a lot. Let's just put it that way. But you're definitely right about the cover, I wasn't feeling it too much, and you uncovered just what was bugging me. Now that I think it, I'd like to have a more dynamic perspective to it, so maybe a redone version will come later.
Tess acknowledges higher powers--she's a supranatural being so anything goes, but she less believes and more like... marginalizes it. It's like, "Fate exists, but it's so stupid, it's not worth mentioning."
