Working on this is about when I realized I wasn't even close to knowing how to draw a kangaroo. Who comes up with this stuff, anyway? Three dogs, two cats, and a KANGAROO? There's got to be logic there somewhere... also, given that his cohorts are Orange Kitten and Green Puppy, shouldn't Purple Kangaroo really be Purple Joey? (Though I suppose that would've complicated things when they named Joe. ...On the other hand, if preschoolers could handle 'Chartreuse' and 'Vermilion', they could probably have handled 'Donovan'. But this isn't the place for that rant.)Anyway. Purple Kangaroo. Yeah. Um... what ever happened to his pocket? He was wearing it in Blue's Big Musical, but I can't recall seeing it since then. I guess he's just working on his fashion sense. I think he's also the character I draw with the most distinct differences between his younger and older versions; just look at the shape of his head on the two pictures on the sides
