My interpretations of Zira’s kids.

Kovu

Gave me the least trouble of the three since he has the most scenes and was easy to color pick.

I did some minor color-correction on his underbelly due to it being verrry yellow in SP but otherwise just gave him Vitani’s whisker marks to help him better resemble his siblings since the three of them have very little in common otherwise.

Vitani

I did my best to mix her SP cub and adult designs since they very much look like different characters lol.

Like with Kovu, I color-corrected her underbelly due to it being visibly desaturated compared to the rest of her body and also omitted her appearing-every-other-scene ear rims since no one else in her family has them.

Nuka

AKA: WTF color is he actually supposed to be??

The general fandom consensus is a pale reddish-brown but in SP during the single scene he has in daylight he is very much gray- the colors I personally used- while Lion Guard takes his colorscheme from the ambush/gorge scene which is…odd since the scene is very obviously set in the dark.

Something interesting I noticed while gathering references; Nuka is actually drawn with the same whisker marks as Vitani in many scenes, and, like her ear rims, this flip-flops constantly between him having them or not even up to the ambush/gorge scene.
