Description
Another one of my many designs for the Martian Tripedal Fighting Machines from HG Wells classic Science Fiction Novel "The War of the Worlds"I tried to base my Fighting Machine on the shells and organic components of various crustaceans. The "shell" on the tope has port holes in it taking inspiration from Dark Horse Comics Design.
Underneath the organic armor is the more machine part of the Tripod.
THe spikes coming from the ankles of the legs are also taking inspiration from the Striders in the videogame Half-life 2 which are also based off of the Fighting machines from TWOTW.

Very cool combination of inspiration you have there, multiple tripods in one! And still kept H.G. Wells desciption, it is cool that there are hundrets of Tripod designs out there, and still you can come up with your own, just becouse the book doesn't have any concrete description of what it actually looks like. Well done
