Description
I was doodling yesterday evening and got back onto making scribbling Martian Machines around my paper setting all my other little scribbles on fire with their heat-rays.This was one of the Martians on the paper, and is a potential blueprint for what my Martian Model might eventually turn out to look like, only with less detail of course. I don't even know how far I'll get into making it, but this is what I always imagined it to look like.

Nice work on this I suppose that is based on Frank R Paul's version of the machines, although with more flexible legs

Ha. Think your clever?
I went off of the books descriptions, accompanying the "Boilers on stilts" and the use of kitchen utensils to create a possible machine. I have to ladles of stainless steel that I intend to use to make the tripod in my image.
As for the convenient placement of the tentacles and people being grabbed, its pure coincidence. Nothing more.
I would gladly show you similar images made be other people on their interpretations that bare similar attributes, just to show that I am not the only one who has thought of the same design.
Even if there was any influence, which there isn't, it shouldn't even be worth trying to correct me over it. Why the sudden fascination of the similarities?
