The Nook was interesting, to say the least.
There was many wynglings like them, abandoned, and others who were there simply because they craved social interaction. Strange. Everything was very... Strange.
After studying an orange wyngling who didn't seem able to keep their tongue in their mouth, they were circled by two other children. One was very different, pleasing shades of tan coloring them. The other was a dark purple, with similar ears to their own. Once they ran off to do their own business, they caught up with Mason once more to follow him.
Mason was much more interesting to them than the others in the Nook, and they were sure there was more to uncover about him. He went by a name different from the one Alma gave him- Which they thought was idiotic, Alma's decisions were sound- He constantly visited the library to learn more, and he had the most interesting theories of things that occurred around wynsiph. Plus, they caught Mason frequently talking to himself, not to mention the occasional nightmare. So strange and interesting... But positive things were not without their negativity, as Mason was confusing most of the time and slightly irritating with his surplus of emotion.
He showed way too much irritation than was normal when they only leaned over him to scan what he was reading, the pout on his face a clear sign of this. After their trip to the library Mason had approached them with two... what was it? Popsicles? They didn't understand how they'd.. eat it.. As they could tell from inspecting the dark blue substance, it was frozen onto the sick. Ignoring Mason's mumblings, they had bit a piece of the snack, humming softly as he considered it. Tasted good.. After coming to the conclusion that they'd be eating this more often, Mason suddenly shrieked and looked at them as if they insulted his very being.
What did they do?

Faris is... something else, but two things are sure
they dont know any personal space, and theyre a demon incarnate that can bite and chew icecream
