Recently realized I hadn't uploaded this one here, so here it is.About a year ago I got curious about vectors, so decided to try my hand at them. This is done entirely with the pen tool in Photoshop, which is, yes, completely boneheaded, but it was the program I had, and I wanted to see if it could be done.
I had a lot of fun playing with the smoothness of the curves and altering the transparencies of intersecting shapes. But it took about six times as long as a pencil drawing, so I haven't gone back and tried it again.

(The style of the drawing reminds me the style of the movie "A scanner darkly")
If your like work with vector, try "Adobe Illustrator", the pen tool in "Illustrator" is better than the pen tool in "Adobe Photoshop" 
(but in Illustrator you must work with vector -> no pixel)

Thanks! Actually, the cool thing about vectors is that they don't require much coordination at all. You can adjust the lines and shapes to your heart's content after you lay them down. So don't rule them out for that reason!

i like the simple style of vector here. soemtimes, when you use a smaller number of layers/shapes, it's hard to tell who you've actually vectored.

Thank you! Yes, this is quite a few layers, over 200 if I'm recalling correctly. I wanted it to look clean and simple, but still look like him.

Thank you! But I only wish it took just six hours. My typical drawing takes me quite a bit longer than an hour to do, and "six times" that amount was a guestimate, so, yeah, let's just say it was a serious time sink . . .

It's done with vectors, which means it can be scaled to any size.
