Description
This was one of those moments in DnD that just sprouted [pun intended] a tonne of follow-up ideas.

okay to set the background in the first story i tried to build up the Lord of Pelts the Big bad guy of this story, by having his trade-mark thing of shit getting their skin flayed off wherever they go they find stuff pissed off that someone tried to skin it or just dead bodies. one such example i wanted them to find was Qualen Fiddlefen's garden, this was a pristine garden kept by clockwork creatures one of which approaches the team asking for a healer. Their beloved master is ill and they want to fix him.
fun surprise the guy is dead and skinless has been for months at least but the clockworks don't recognise death so kept him comfortable and fed unaware that it ain't gonna help.
this guy kept a huge garden in the back which housed the more...unfriendly plants, you know poisonous plants dangerous drug plants and oh yeah! a shambling mound.

after the shambling mound was defeated Jessica our druid asked if they can investigate the body for stuff, they rolled pretty high and seeing as all my friends in this group are mad on animal crossing right now i said jokingly "you find a giant turnip"
"OMG i found its baby guys! i found a shambling mound egg!"
wait what? Ya know what? fuck it. you found a baby shambling mound.
so now she is carrying a huge turnip which she called Tornapa, it currently drinks blood and both Jessica and Ufuka talk baby gibberish to it like it can hear, she's even crafted a fucking baby seat for it!!!
I've already homebrewed a "Baby Shambling mound" and yes it will level up and grow with the team.
