Oh boy, the uber-commission. This little darlin' is worth 60k in Gaia gold. Done for the amazing Jeice Barton, who over-auto-bought Heart-mind-and-soul's joint charity auction. The auto-buy was 2.5 mil. He paid 3.5 million. I just kind of gawked at the screen for a while.

Oddly, this was a pretty difficult thing to draw. The subject was Jeice's girlfriend, Julia, so I did both of them in avvie-form. Well, Jeice in plushie-avvie form. This is the final draft, out of three. The first one was Julia and Jeice swinging, but her safety blanket was really lumpy and odd-looking. The second draft was them reclining on a couch together, strangely reminiscent of Mike and Laura Present LOVE , but again, Julia's blanket looked oddly out of place. So, I finally came up with the really, really clever solution of integrating it INTO the image instead of trying to work around it. Hence the sleeping.

The only thing I'm really displeased about is the positioning of the legs. Hopefully you can tell that they're kind of stacked up on eachother, since she's kind of scrunched up anyway. But otherwise...I do think it turned out as well as it could have.

...And Jeice has no face. That's bothersome.

Time Taken: 2.5 hours sketching, 7 hours digitizing, half an hour abusing my scanner.
