Description A sketch of new, may-be Titans. I need to work more on these guys, however.

Typhon: father of destruction and leader of the Titans during the Old Age.

Echidna: bride of Typhon, and incarnation of evolution, rebelled to the gods fixity. A being whose life's purpose is only to breed, and create new, monstrous creatures. Thought bride of Typhon, during his absences she became the mother/mate of many other beings.

Kraken: Possible child of Leviathan and Echidna; while his father is the pure power of water itself, Kraken embodies the sea and its power. (those on his back are ray-like fins)

Sangumud: Another child of Leviathan and Echidna, is the mud and putrescent power of a swamp incarned. Disgusting and stinky, this leech-like being feast with the blood of others with one head, while the other inject various and poisonous substances.

Many other are on the way, but for now, what do you think? Suggestions on how to make them better? Please help me make them entities to be feared.

WOO! Typhon! The ORIGINAL King of Monsters!

as for more......why not have the whole horrid family of Typhon and Echidna? The Hydra, Nemean lion, Cerberus, Onachus, and the Tarasque are all options in that case.

HAIL THE MONSTER'S KING!

I'm already bringing it up, with some little differences you'll see later. However that bitch of Echidna made a family with all the other Titans, too, so I'll have an entire hospital full of crying baby monsters!

That one IS Typhon, a little twisted and renewed, but still him, the giant mad dragon-like thing that goes against the gods.

The 3 head dragonΒΏ Do you have plans to add all his descedents like cerberus, quimera, hydra and basilisk?

Yep, but in a little different way.
Cerberus will be a demon, born in hell, first and most powerful of the hell hounds;

Chimera, Hydra and basilisks are species, but the first ones will be the childs of Echidna and Typhon.

On Typhon you might want to play with the design a bit more, try to distance him from KG. I know things change later on, but he is still a separate character with his own goals.

Ech' is pretty cool looking, though she looks a bit bland. The tentacles just seem thrown out there and not part of the monster at all. The only other thing I want to point out here is that I'm not fond of stereotyped powers, like a female kaiju being useful for breeding. And no, it isn't the same as Zill and Des' army creation powers. I might suggest that she have a field of influence where other beings can grow stronger or if they spend enough time near her, they change a tiny bit.

First off, I love teh leach/snake/fish/dragon design, it is kickass! Though I imagine he has quite a few powers that lets him hide in the water, kinda like a cloud of murkiness. This would let a kinda thin skinned beast sneak up closer to attack assassin like. Being a swamp monster, poison and acid are also heavy maybes for his power, since the swamp is always full of such things. Here's another thought, swamps are known for for housing carbon and sulfur gasses. You could make his breath weapon a cloud of just such a gas, it could burn and rip at flesh as well as choke the other monster to death.

Kraken has an awesome look to him. Though I might suggest making him the embodiment of the ocean's rage. Bringing with him typhoons and whirlpools where ever he goes, a walking natural disaster.

That's right, i'm gonna twist him like a madman!

Uhm...suggestions for fields? you seem to like her character, so

Very good suggestions for attacks. also you see the holes on his sides? they're black sensors that allow him to "see" and also continously secrets mud and rotting water. You know what his name means? Sangue(italian for blood) and mud, so literally slimy blood, a name I think suits a leech-like being.

Thanks,uhm..interesting suggestions.

Thankya, by the way.

Sweet! Give him all the insanity you got!

I do, I don't mean to say get rid of her breeding powers, those are part of history and hard to separate from the monster. What I mean to say is downplay them. Think of it as she brings the raw force of evolution with her, whatever she focuses heavily on is hit with the blunt force of this power and is mutated. She would most likely be able to control this critter and change it to suite her will or whatever is needed at the time. Also, being evolution incarnate, I would suggest giving her a few skills that are natural for ocean dwellers. A fishing lure on one or more of her heads would be neat, letting her blind her foes with a bright flash or just bring in prey. For some reason I thing I think a long web like fin-spin should go down the sides of her tail to make it one giant fluke, which would give her a neat look as well as some damned good speed in the water. I would also like to think she has all the powers of the ocean combined, kinda like being able to change her tentacles into different weapons, like a crab claw on the end, or a clone snail venom spear, or even just a pair of shark jaws on the end of her tentacles. Theses are all just spit-balled ideas, but most of them fit her.

Yes, I like this character very much. He is the second known leach kaiju. He is also a very awesome design and idea. I didn't notice the holes on the sides, but nice touch. No, I didn't know it was Italian, but at least I knew it stood for blood. It does suite him perfectly though.

Always welcome.

I will!

Uhm...so interesting. However, that look whould make her too similar to leviathan. Maybe a more whale-like look whould work. Those powers are just perfect, my friend.

Yeah, I'm just trying to lean her away from being useful only as a breeding tool. Things like that in female kaiju really bug the hell out of me. I myself have created one or two female kaiju who can hold their own in a battle, though sadly I think I have the most females out of any verse out there and I only have maybe six...more if you count the genderless monsters who are just characterized as female.

Anywho, glad I could help in any way/

Yeah, i admit to heve been wrong on her. I'll rebuilt her as the rightful bride of Typhon and mother of all(nearly) monsters. Why not make her a bit like the genus, from Evolution?

Sweet, sounds like a hell of a start. Also, I've been wondering where Leviathan fits into here, I know he is the titan of all the waters, but where does he fit in? Is he one of the sons of Ech'? Or possibly did he start it by creating her, using her to gain Typhon's favor? I'm really just guessing now.

Well, they all were giants turned by Anurak, but the fact that Lev created her sounds freaky awesome!

Most of them were in any case, Ech' must have hatched a hell of a lot of them as well.

Okay, so Lev' is the first, but he created Ech' to possibly fill his oceans with monsters and troops to increase his power or whatever his twisted plans were. I rather like that to, adds a bit of cunning to Lev' as well as some forethought.

Crystaldemon93 In reply to Ravensaurs-Rex [2010-05-05 19:10:52 +0000 UTC]

Well, let's say that Typhon, Leviathan, Behemoth, Ziz abd Fenrir were the first, then Lev', shopwing his cunning, created Ech' to replenish their number. Like this way better?

Ravensaurs-Rex In reply to Crystaldemon93 [2010-05-05 19:18:10 +0000 UTC]

That works pretty well, just trying to get to the reason behind her creation. I mean, he doesn't want an ocean of "mamma's boys" who will gang up on him if he badmouths Ech'. lol

Crystaldemon93 In reply to Ravensaurs-Rex [2010-05-05 19:40:05 +0000 UTC]

XD, but they're also "Grampa's boys" lol
They only have to dare XD
However, this also whould explain why he took over after Typhon, for he was the most powerful and smart, but also he had an army of gran/daddy's boys for himself.

Ravensaurs-Rex In reply to Crystaldemon93 [2010-05-05 19:49:43 +0000 UTC]

True, it also helps that the younger generation of titans could just be pointed at the gods with Lev' going "Avenge your father!" then he can just relax as they go and cause chaos. For some reason he strikes me as a lazy cuss who hardly ever fights his own battles unless you really piss him off.

Well, he did fought, and as I said, nearly beated the crap out of Acquiria. However, why risking, when you got an army of sons, grandsons and blindly devoted servants?

I guess this makes him the "Bond Villain" of your kaijuverse. lol Anywho, I guess all leaders are like that, using their troops more then fighting themselves.
