wohooo another picture XDI drew the sketch months ago but I wasn't motivated to finish it
but 3 days ago I thought
I want to finish it! XD
it's also been one year since I uploaded my last picture of Suicune...
it was about time XD
the best thing is
I'm completely satisfied with it XD
I know that it's right leg is wrong but I noticed it when it was too late haha

well I think I'd prefer coloring linearts than an art trade XD
but only because I don't have any good ideas at the moment so my part of an art trade would take really long and I already colored some linearts
so this would be ok to me

This is truly beautiful *.*
The colour of the aurora reflecting Suicune's colour is fantastic, along with the composition as a whole. If there's anything wrong with the leg, I cannot see it unless I study rather hard, and it does not influence the overall impression at all.
This is probably one of the best drawings of it I've ever seen : D, you did a wonderful job!

yeah I saw many of them, too
but I did this a long time as well
I think those artists are scared whether people then say
"oh how can you be proud of this?? there are many mistakes like this, this and that blabla"
at least that was my problem XD
I think it's better to be proud of your work when you can see that you improved rather than stating out what you don't like
there was a discussion on Animexx about whether people really like to get criticism on their pictures or if they just do so because everyone also does this
and I thought a long time
"if I say right at the beginning what's wrong on my picture then nobody says something bad about it"
maybe that's also a reason why many state what they don't like...
haha sorry...

Agreed. Ha, that was indeed my reason too... :I My experience with critics is as long as you don't specifically ask for it, people won't do it. Most likely they'll state something they like, and "ignore" if something is off. I do so myself, unless; of course, they want to know how to do better.
I don't mind; I often find myself writing comments that are way too long. But most of the artist seems to appreciate it, as "great drawing", "very cute", etc. doesn't say that much... Of course, there are also those who're satisfied with just a few words too, and it's more encouraging to write more if the artist answers their comments.

sorry that I write back that late...
I had to do something and just followed the news since friday...
that's so horrible...
someone once wrote to one of my pictures:
"you have to work a lot more on drawing"
I was very proud of that picture as I drew a scene for the first time
and I know I wasn't bad at drawing at this moment
but I told that person that I didn't like what she told about that picture as I thought that she didn't look at my other pictures
so she couldn't see that I improved
at this moment I realised that I don't want critics on my picture and that I know the mistakes by myself
for me it's better to hear that people liked the picture and that I'm on the right way
I think it really is better if comments are longer
because then you know that the one who looked at your picture looked at it more than just a few seconds
and yes
you'd rather like to write a comment to an artist who answers XD
so again I'm really sorry that I write back that late
