i finally drew a Raikou XD (more realistic...)actually i wanted to take a break from drawing but i had to draw because of that wonderful news which say that there will be Pokemon Gold and Silver remakes <3
i'm not completely satisfied with the colo (i tried something different)
but i love the background XD

Ich auch. Ich bin zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass er sich vor Raikou versteckt, weil der ihn bestimmt fressen wollte. Katzen und Gras und so.

it was my friend's character as a wolf. and she had pink hair and a dark gray outfit and that came out ^^

I disagree with you about the color. I'm not an artist (I'm a writer) but I can tell you really did a good job with the shadow, and I think the lightning in the backround is really well done. I think this may be the best Raikou I've seen in a long time. The facial expression really adds to the effect of the pose. There isn't anything I can see that you could have done better (again, I'm no artist). This may be my new wallpaper.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I'm compelled to write a story by a dream I've had. I've had a dream analyzed Freudian style, and I was shocked when I heard the analysis. That event was what inspired me to start writing. Now I write straight from the soul (sometimes)

and i think if you force yourself to write or draw something it won't come out the way it would be if you really wanted to write or draw it
sometimes there are days where i think "that's all you can draw?"
and then there's something totally cool and awesome which inspires me^^

I totally agree. I haven't had enough inspiration to really continue writing for about two weeks, which is actually one of the reasons I made a profile on Deviant Art. I needed to get inspiration from other artists and writers. I'm glad to see there are artists who share my feelings about art here!

i think there are many artists who have the same feelings^^
if i don't have any inspiration i take a break of about 2 weeks even if i have a pic in my mind
it really helps me

i get out of school next year when i pass my A-Levels...

Man, das is ja mal nen super geil aussehendes Raikou!!! Find die Pose super genial geworden ( erinnert mich i-wie an Zira aus König der Löwen 2 wo sie ihr Wiegenlied singt, denn da is so ne ähnliche Pose bei XD ) und der Gesichtsausdruck is auch klasse, besonders diese tollen Augen und das halb offene Maul mit den Zähnen!!! Die Pfoten mit den Krallen sind auch einfach nur genial und lassen Raikou mal so richtig schon gefährlich aussehen!!! Echt klasse!!! ^.^
Die dunklen Schatten find ich super gewählt und klasse gezeichnet, denn die geben Raikou noch mehr Gefährlichkeit! Hintergrund ist auch passend, besonders die Blitze, und ich bewundere einfach deine tollen Steine, denn sowas würd ich nie hinkriegen

Jep hätteste wegen der Pfote gucken können, denn Zira hält die so ähnlich, aber ich find du hast das allein doch auch supi hingekriegt!!! Ich hätt sowas bestimmt total vermurkst XD
Steine und Felsen sind für mich immer nen Graus! Die krieg ich nie toll hin und meistens geb ich frustriet auf

ich au; vor allem in allen möglichen Sprachen X3
ich hab mir da so nen kleinen Trick ausgedacht
erst mach ich da so nen normalen Schatten mit nem Pinsel un ner dunkleren Farbe un dann nehm ich in Photoshop den Nachbelichter un mach damit so en paar nich verwischte Striche XD (geht aba glaub au mit nem normalen Pinsel)
nur wegem Gras un wege da Bäume muss ich mir noch was einfalln lassen XD

Danke für den Tip! Muss ich dann doch gleich mal ausprobieren, wenn ich wieder Felsen/Steine mal, denn am letzten Felsen bin ich fast total verzweifelt XD
Fürs Gras hab ich bisher noch runtergeladene Pinsel, doch jetzt wo ich wieder nen paar Stifte zum Outlinen hab, will ich mir meine eigenen Graspinsel machen

bei mir sieht des Gras erst total verschwommen aus un dann total steif
