Description
Drawing and Painting project for school---I didn't want to write on it, but it was required for the grade. So hey, you guys all get a lesson in the PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN. Whoo~
I thought it came out pretty well for what was supposed to be just a draft. ^__^ And hooray for brightness!!! <3
Also, if the character positions look a little familiar, it's because I used other people's drawings on here as a reference. Sorry! Let me know if it was your picture I used as reference, and I'll be sure to give you credit!!!
Tools used:
- Pencil (Sketch)
- Color Pencils (Characters)
- Copic Sketch Markers (Background, color outline)
Avatar - Aang, Katara, Toph, Zuko (c) Nickelodeon

OMG, I remember this from last year!
I was all like, "WHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAA, Jaime can draw!"
And I still think that. LOL.
Super awesome. Love love love the coloring. Katara is my favorite. How did you get that skin color? D:

lol. I don't like this picture, though. xD It was my first time ever drawing Avatar, so the characters don't even really look like themselves on the show. It was more anime than Avatar. xD Plus, I used the Prismacolor Scholar instead of the professional ones, so the colors didn't come out as good as I wanted it. *sigh*
Haha, thanks, though. Katara is my favorite too, 'specially the water. I think her skin color was just a color straight from the box...it irritated me cause I couldn't find a color close enough to her actual skin color on the show...

Yeah, it's really hard to get colors exactly right, isn't it? Especially with pencils. Well, for me it is.
But I think you did really well with the colors. And you coulda fooled me. That was like, the best picture I'd ever seen of them, fan drawn. I thought that you drew those characters regularly.
Either way, it's still awesome.

It really is. *sigh* But I love color pencils the most, because you can do wonders with blending and shading... <3
Oh...crap. Speaking of which, I forgot to return the Prismacolor color pencil set I borrowed at the beginning of the semester. Oh well. I gotta go pick up some artwork at Mrs. Mason's, I'll return it then. xD
Duuude, no way. There are so many people better at drawing Avatar than me, especially here! But thanks again. :3

I know. That's why it's my favorite medium, aside from just pencil.
Hahahahaha, that's too funny. You should invest in some of your own. OH wait, grad present for Jaime! Haha. Congrats, by the way!

Omg. Are you serious? After looking at what YOU'VE drawn, this thing kinda pales in comparison. xD
I did this a while ago...I redid it because I didn't like the way it came out. But then I never finished the new one, soooo....yeaaaah. xD
This was before I really drew any Avatar, though. I needed a reference for EVERYONE. Now...well, I've gotten better. ^^ I should post something...
