So, this picture was supposed to come out after a picture with the giant Hedgehog family. However, I now want it to be a surprise as I actually really like how it came out. So, I decided to make the Ice Area picture for the Mermay story. And yes, I have decided to make a story. Now, before I tell the story, I might as well talk about the forms here. We are going to start with everyone's favorite Reindeer that is white.

This was before the idea of Week Adventure was fully realized, and this Sally's design wasn't finalized yet. Now, the new picture has her new design, same outfit, and a new pose. Speaking of new poses, I felt off that she was smiling and the pose felt really off to me. So, I changed it to Sally being cautious about their surroundings, fearing whoever did the water disturbances has security around the area. Nicole gained a difference too. Same pose, but now she's a bit higher and looks like she's coming into the scene more than just being there. Oh, and her Wristwatch Form is Waterproof, so she can go with Sally. Forgot to mention that last time. Besides some moving around of characters, I also got some background changes. Now, there are more icicles in the water, and the Ice Water floor is seeable now. Nova now looks like he’s actually cold. And now Comet looks a bit unique. Yeah, now instead of her braid tips being transformed to Ice, her hair is now ice, along with her eyelids. Oh, and she let her braid down. She normally keeps it in a Braid because of something she really can’t control, even when it’s cut, her hair grows back in a month (It comes back by the first day of the month). If she doesn’t cut it, however, it stays the same length, and it’s only the side where she braids her hair that it affects. She is basically the Mobian Rapunzel, only she has part of her hair grow fast if it is cut and stays the same length if it isn’t cut. I hope this was enlightening. As for why this happens, no one knows. And they can’t ask her parents about it, so the answer is a mystery. But, why did the Eyelids transform to Ice? Most Ice Mermobians have a lot more ice transformer body parts, mostly it’s the arms. But remember that Comet has not lived in the Ice Empire for a long time, and some conditions were changed when she gained this form. So yeah. Oh, personal update time. In honor of Tears of the Kingdom coming out, I decided to go Back in Time to an Alternate Reality and playing Age of Calamity. I may also restart Breath of the Wild on my profile and play it from the beginning. It will be a while until my family gets Tears of the Kingdom, but it will come, I just probably won’t do a review on it. Maybe I will, but I’m not sure yet. I guess I can talk more about other things. Not update post tomorrow, it’s my Mom’s Birthday, and my BFF’s Wedding is this Saturday. I will try to Update the other picture later on, but for now, I will leave Big Reviews for the Collage. (Don’t worry, I will talk about Cookie Run Kingdom & IDW Sonic Issue 60). Comet! Comet lives in the Ice Empire. The coldest part of Cosium is currently the Christmas story problem, where Comet needs the cold to survive. I will say this, because she is living with people who are used to the warmth her body learns to adapt to warmer weather. She only has to be in cold weather for at least once a week, though since her room will have a freeze position that can last up to 2 years she is fine and living. Obviously, she is an Arctic Mermaid, or known as Ice Mermaids, they live in cold waters and are built for survival and polar temperatures. Fits most civilians in the Ice Empire. Arctic Mermaids, or Mermobians, don't have the waist fin like most Mermobians do, though Arctic Mermobians are a part of the design group of Mermobians with no waist fin. If you want an example of this just look at Tropical and Freshwater Mermobians that are already out, or just the first Mermay picture I made. There are more like this but let's talk more about the design. most Arctic Mermobians have a pattern on their tail. Usually, their tails have a pattern to what their favorite thing to see is. Comet always loves seeing snowfall, and she gets very technical when it comes to snow. However, Comet lives in the part of Cosium where it is mostly warm all the time. So, she also has a pattern to her normal fur pattern. Arctic Mermobians also have a combined bottom fin, it does help them swim faster but not as much as normal fins. And one more thing about this form, part of the body becomes ice; no one really knows in the Mobian world why this happens but the theory is that it's to help stay warm in the frigid waters. Comet is wearing a different dress. This dress is for when she just needs to go quick. Someone, who was a nice person don't worry, mysteriously gave Comet a trinket that can help change her outfits. Plus, she is the only Arctic Mermobian in her search group. What are they Searching for?

Fire Mermobians?! Let's talk about the two Mermobians that obviously look like Fire Mermobians. Now, this is mainly an Element-based Mermobian group. I wanted to make some Mermobian groups that were unique. The two in this group either have fire element or have it as their main power, or use Fire to Fight. Like Blaze and Reva. Blaze can obviously be a Fire Mermobian as she has Pyrokinesis as her main power. As a Fire Mermobian, the tail emits body heat to keep the form from freezing in cold waters. Design-wise, the waist fin is like a campfire, however, they are different colors. I should mention this, these designs were based on this picture that was made showing Blaze as a Mermobian. So, it's based on this design. Also, the bottom fin is shaped like a fire. Like Tropical Mermobians, Fire Mermobians have few see-through parts, the non-see-through part is on top of the see-through part, where it's lighter than the see-through part. Speaking of fire, the wrists also gain fire fins. They help keep regular body temperature, there are places where it is really cold, and normal Mermobians can't survive unless they are made for the cold or a Fire Mermobian, and they may go to some deep, dark, and cold places later on. Back to Blaze; her crown got an upgrade from just looking like a head amulet. It almost looks like a crown that Jasmine would wear. Her outfit is actually another swimsuit she wears when she and Silver are just hanging out by the oceans in the Sol Dimension. There is also her hairband that also looks like Fire. It's just a hairband that looks like Fire. Now, why does Reva not looked much like Blaze's design? Well, that's because she is not a full Fire Mermobian. It's a mix of another Mermobian and a Fire Mermobian. Why is Reva a Mermobian? I needed a form that related to her; I saw she mostly uses Fire Arrows when she's using her Bow and Arrow. Plus, it almost looks like she got burned. Sorry, but I needed an idea for her. I haven't decided what the other Mermobian combined to make this design for Reva, but if anyone can give me an idea, then go ahead.

NEW BOY (Also, Volcanic Mermobian)! Who is that boy giving the Thumbs up to the group? This boy is named Tyson. And he has a crush on Comet. Tyson is a Volcanic Tiger, his story is normal, at least until Notos decided to go to war with Sorianna. He retreated with a couple of other civilians to the Mobius Zone the main zone. Though in the crossfire, his mom and younger brother died while escaping. He now lives in Cosium, working to keep himself and his baby sister afloat without their parents. His dad died due to a bar fight before the war started, his dad was a bartender and tried to stop a bar fight when one of them him hard and he fell over on a rock and just passed there. Yeah, things went downhill for this boy after that event. Anyway, so what is a Volcanic Tiger? To be honest, I just made it up to make him unique and I was looking up animals that were like Volcanic, and I found a picture of a Volcanic Tiger and decided to make Comet's love interest related to one of the hottest natural disasters of Earth. Oh, right, what is a Volcanic Mermobian? So, a Volcanic Mermobian is a Mermobian that can go near underwater volcanos. There is a reason why Tyson is on the team. The main bad of the story put a device next to an underwater volcano and only someone who can protect people because he is a Volcanic Mermobian and can absorb the extreme heat. It also gives him the bonus of making him immune to the cold. His tail is actually made of rock, his normal tail is also rock. Living Rock is actually a rare ability a Mobian can be born with. The idea is that it's an evolved version of the earth element that shows in body form. Tyson will get a Bio and more information on him later on, just know that he has an advanced version of the Earth Element.

Crystal Mermobian! It's Sad Story Boy's turn, and he is cold! Since he is not a Fire or Volcanic Mermobian, he forgot to wear warm clothes. Anyway, he is a Crystal Mermobian, a subspecies of Mobian Merfolk who live in caves. And since Nova is part Bat, over course he needed to be some sort of cave Mermobian. Now, the reason why Crystal Mermobians are a subspecies of Mobian Merfolk is because Nova is half Lunar Moth and half Bat and bats, if everyone had a Mermobian form, are normally Underground Mermobians. Nova may look like a normal Lunar Moth, but he has features like a bat. In fact in this Mermay story, he finds out that he has a Sonar Scream that came from his Biological Father. Design-wise, he has two fins on his tail, one pair helps with his swimming, and the other pair is smaller but helps with his Sonar Scream. No one really knows about this subspecies of Mermobians, only that normal Underground Merfolk can glow in the dark. Nova can do that too, but no new information about this subspecies has come out yet.

Sally! I had to base Sally's Mermobian Tail from Ariel's tail! Even though Sapphire is based on Ariel, I could not help it, okay! There are differences between most of Sally Mermaid designs and this one. Most of them are blue or like Ariel's tail. Obviously, she looks like the normal Cosium Merfolk, so nothing new there. Her tail color is actually a light-dark green, while the see-through parts are yellow. Yeah, there's really nothing to it for this design, besides what we may find out about them this month. Her outfit is actually a waterproof jacket from the chest of clothesline that Julayla sold to Sonic for 3 Rings. She had to wear it for when it was raining hard outside and she needed to wear something that she would not get wet in and get cold from. The symbol on her jacket is a small combination of Cosium's Symbol and actually the New Mobotropoliss symbol that Elias made to show new Beginnings in New Mobotropoliss after Eggman destroyed Old Mobotropoliss during the time when Sonic was being held Prisoner on the Death Egg, along with Sally and Elias being sent to the Planet Midnight Zone with barely anyone there. So, yeah; (hopefully the next entires will be better).

Nicole! She looks amazing! Now, first of all, this design was really based on this picture link where it was a prize for someone and I actually really like it. Second, no, Nicole is not affected by the big wave that hit most of the Freedom Fighters; however, her physical form was affected. Yeah, I changed her Handheld device from a phone-looking device to a wristwatch. Why? Because it makes Sally's outfit more unique and not out of place. The confusing wave that hit the Freedom Fighters, and some civilians, made Nicole's Physical Form waterproof and workable underwater; the reason why she did not have this sooner is because Ray upgraded Nicole's Physical Form when Sally, Amy, Nicole, and Rotor went to Ring Island to meet Dr. Elidy and help stop an early version of the Phage Virus, which again was made by Evil Jack O'Hair. So, Nicole is the first, and only, Techno Mermobian! She made this species since she is a Holo-Lynx and wanted to feel more like the group. So, all the information that is given here is what Nicole came up with. A Techno Mermobian, while they are still technology, when they go into a Holographic form they gain normal abilities of Merobians but they can't swim too far from the device that is projecting their Holo-form. With their four bottom fins, Techno Mermobians can swim faster than any of the other Mermobians on Mobius. Their tails can also help defend them while they are hacking into underwater devices. And she can even change her size when she wants to make more room for the group or just swim big. Her ears are always like that when she's in this form, by the way.

Maria! And finally, we have Maria Robotnik Hedgehog! She is a Space Mermobian! Why? Because I thought it would be interesting, that's why! Alright, time for her forms information. A Space Mermobian can not just breathe underwater but protects them from Space Disasters coming to the Planet, along with allowing them to breath in Space. Yeah, all those stages in Space have a breathable shield around them. No one can breathe outside in space. Another benefit to that is that the Space Mermobians can also allow those who aren't Space Merfolk to breathe in space. Though Space Merfolk can fly fast in space, they are actually one of the slowest swimmers in the water. Their tails glow even Brighter than the Underground Merfolk with Light Colors and side fins to help them swim through the sea or fly through Space! I haven't actually drawn Maria in a long time since I was so focused with other stuff. Sorry to all the Maria fans.
Now for the story!

Sally: Anything yet?
Nova: No! Can we leave now? I'm freezing here! Why am I on this team, again?
Comet: Come on Nova. Your new Sonar Scream can actually help us find the device that's here.
Tyson: We don't even know what we are looking for. That's the fun part of this mission.
Nova: And why can't I have gone and told Sonic, Sea, Shadow, Silver, Justin, Boreas, Sonata, Moon, and Max; again?
Blaze: Actually why can't we? Why did you bring me here to help?
Reva: Because they are enjoying a relaxing time in their spot just being Siblings. Maybe Shadow is made the Justin, Moon, and Max have Merhog forms as well. Plus, we want this to be a surprise if these forms are permanent.
Nicole: Guys, my sensors are detecting something in that Ice Cave. And Blaze, you came to us when you accidentally transformed in your home Dimension.
Tyson: We don't even know who did this to us and others. Aqua, Zero, and Cream are just hanging out in her hometown.
Maria: We are the only group to come here to the Arctic Oceans to find the thing we detected. We need to get going. We'll be out of here soon Nova.
Nova: Okay. Let's go.

Quick Review! Yep! Sonic the Hedgehog IDW Issue 39 is out and it felt like the middle ground. I will say that Sonic and his small group sections were the best part of the story. However, it is sad to see that Belle and Tangle barely were not even in the story as much, the only times they were in the story was in the beginning and the end. Also, Eggman either needs better Supervisors, rather Than Orbot and Cubot, or needs to give Orbot and Cubot an upgrade. Also, Eggman has a better Virtual Reality Device is better than the Virtual Boy made by Nintendo. Overall, this story gets a 6.5/10. Not a bad issue, but it has that Middle Ground Issue.

Maria! And finally, we have Maria Robotnik Hedgehog! She is a Space Mermobian! Why? Because I thought it would be interesting, that's why! Alright, time for her forms information. A Space Mermobian can not just breathe underwater but protects them from Space Disasters coming to the Planet, along with allowing them to breath in Space. Yeah, all those stages in Space have a breathable shield around them. No one can breathe outside in space. Another benefit to that is that the Space Mermobians can also allow those who aren't Space Merfolk to breathe in space. Though Space Merfolk can fly fast in space, they are actually one of the slowest swimmers in the water. Their tails glow even Brighter than the Underground Merfolk with Light Colors and side fins to help them swim through the sea or fly through Space! I haven't actually drawn Maria in a long time since I was so focused with other stuff. Sorry to all the Maria fans.
Now for the story!

Sally: Anything yet?
Nova: No! Can we leave now? I'm freezing here! Why am I on this team, again?
Comet: Come on Nova. Your new Sonar Scream can actually help us find the device that's here.
Tyson: We don't even know what we are looking for. That's the fun part of this mission.
Nova: And why can't I have gone and told Sonic, Sea, Shadow, Silver, Justin, Boreas, Sonata, Moon, and Max; again?
Blaze: Actually why can't we? Why did you bring me here to help?
Reva: Because they are enjoying a relaxing time in their spot just being Siblings. Maybe Shadow is made the Justin, Moon, and Max have Merhog forms as well. Plus, we want this to be a surprise if these forms are permanent.
Nicole: Guys, my sensors are detecting something in that Ice Cave. And Blaze, you came to us when you accidentally transformed in your home Dimension.
Tyson: We don't even know who did this to us and others. Aqua, Zero, and Cream are just hanging out in her hometown.
Maria: We are the only group to come here to the Arctic Oceans to find the thing we detected. We need to get going. We'll be out of here soon Nova.
Nova: Okay. Let's go.

Quick Review! Yep! Sonic the Hedgehog IDW Issue 39 is out and it felt like the middle ground. I will say that Sonic and his small group sections were the best part of the story. However, it is sad to see that Belle and Tangle barely were not even in the story as much, the only times they were in the story was in the beginning and the end. Also, Eggman either needs better Supervisors, rather Than Orbot and Cubot, or needs to give Orbot and Cubot an upgrade. Also, Eggman has a better Virtual Reality Device is better than the Virtual Boy made by Nintendo. Overall, this story gets a 6.5/10. Not a bad issue, but it has that Middle Ground Issue.
