Description
Thank you to the amazing and talented for creating this sheet for us! It was a lot of fun to conceptualize with you, and I adore how it came out! Now, to the traits themselves. I'll separate it out by box.
Koss anatomy
Koss are ditigigrade anthropomorphic canids with segmented heads, tails, and ears. They range from 3 feet to 6 feet, and have "clawed" humanoid hands. While Koss do not have claws, their fingers taper as if they do.
Segmentations
There are four types of segments.
-Basic- Split segments: Segments that separate a limb or portion of the body from another. This is the very most basic type of segmentation.
Plumbob Segments: Segments that have a small orb or other shape within a segment, which can extend the distance between segments.
-Special- Cutout segments: Segments which cut a hole into the Koss, as seen in the ears of the Koss.
Partial segments: Segments which do not fully separate their area of the Koss, as seen on the kosslet above.
Each Koss can have up to three segmentation sets.
A set is defined as either mirrored onto the other side, or being a compound on the same limb.
Whether something is a set is up to Moderator discretion.
You may, if you have a rare or higher Koss, switch one of your segment sets for a special segmentation.
Head and Nose Shape
Koss faces are long and narrow, with a very defined bridge for the most part. The noses are very rabbitlike and streamlined. They are not canine or feline.
Ears
Ears are one of the most customizable parts of a Koss.
Common ears are long and tapered, very triangular, and animalistic.
Uncommon ears are still long and tapered, but have some room for creativity.
Rare ears can be folded, kinked, frilled, or anything of that nature, and can be so fancy that they aren't really realistic anymore.
Super rare ears basic shapes, but not earlike. A good example would be Vanna's ears or Kossetsu's ears at the top.
Mythic ears are literally any item that happens to be triangular overall.
Eyes
Sclera (the white of the eye) is dark or black. The pupil, except in the case of super rares and higher, is white.
Mythic may not have pupils at all.
Tails
Common tails include any type of canid tail
Uncommon tails include any type of animal tail. This includes fish, lion, bird, and more!
Rare is anything else that could conceivably be a tail. Want a Kossfan for your Foxfan convert? You can do that! Want a literal balloon on a string? Go for it!
Add ons
Add-ons are just cosmetic little bits and bobs made of dataglow.
It's also worth noting that fur and head hair are free reign as well!
App Family Special traits!
Each app family has a special trait specific to that app type.
-Social App-
The Gemini form is a second body with reversed markings. More information on how exactly that works can be requested.
-Information App-
The wisdom whiskers and multiple eyes are traits of the information apps. They all help to take in more of the world around them.
-Creative App-
Mood horns are horns made of dataglow which change their shape based on a Koss's mood. In their earlier forms, all creative Koss have a diamond in the center of their forehead. In addition to these horns, they also have glowing rings of creation, which flow along the length of the horns freely. These are made of white or golden light.
-Self Help App-
Wings. Great blanketing wings, with which to embrace the ailing and needful. They can be in any number of styles, and can be stored away within the birdlike marking between the shoulders, which remains.
-Browser App-
Buffer/loading Arms are made of dataglow, and can each control their own datascreen. When they are not active, the loading-style vent remains on the Koss's back. The arms are actually a second color of dataglow, and the dataglow for the arms creates a dataglow gradient when the arms are not active.
-Gaming App-
Gaming apps can have an alternate skin, which can change markings, textures, and more! This can include, but is not limited to: Scales, feathers, metal, paper, and more~! Each Koss can have one alternate skin, which leaves hints of its existence when not in active use. An example, as above, is visible scale plates, or perhaps dataglow text that remains if the skin is meant to look like paper. Play around and experiment! If you're in the Discord (you really should be) we'll help you out!
Kosslets!
These aren't available for MYO right now, but these little babies are the start of any Koss. They have no markings except for dataglow markings - though they may have monochrome gradients and hair colors if applicable - common or uncommon tails, and humanoid hands just like adult koss. They are quadruped, but can stand at times, and mostly act like studious puppies.
