Description
the first time I talked to nook in new leaf it felt weird, he was nice....maybe too nice. I was expecting him to be like, well like he used to be, but now he's a pretty nice and decent(?) guy/racoon. there's something wrong, I don't think that's the same nook at all D:Related content

yeah, all the items turn into leaves when moved around in the game or in pockets.
when they are placed in a room they turn into the actual item its supposed to be, such as a teapot or a couch.

It's also a folklore tanuki thing. Tanuki use leaves for their shapeshifting magic

Nook, the new element of Generosity ladies andΒ gentleman's.
Rarity should take a few lessons from him and maybe then people would not complain how far away she is from representing her element.
