If you're talking about the Mary Sue (a term which should only apply to fancharacters, but no, she's a textbook example), there's a major difference here. Some people actually wanted Shining and Cadence to have a baby. Chloe just came buttfuck out of nowhere. To be fair, she's not really the cause of the problems in the season she was introduced in and beyond so much as a symptom of it, but I can definitely see why the fans would lose it at the, what is it, fifth new character they've added? Third if you don't count anti-versions?
