I love your colouring style~ How do you do it? It's so smooth and what colour pencils you use?

I guess the coloring is done layer by layer, starting with the lighter colors and adding the darker ones. I use Crayola's 50 color pencils set.

No Probs Oh how many layers did you do?

Is it where like you use a medium tone color pencil and colored it lightly on to it?
Cause I think that the amount of pressure applies to it makes a difference in the intesity of the colour, but I'm not sure if it accurate

Uh... I guess I've never counted...

I think, on Vulpix, it was five or six for each part. The grass was seven or eight.

I use full strength on the first layer, and depending on how dark the color ought to be, I apply different pressure.

You are correct, I think.

This reminds me so much of the point in the warriors series where Rusty (Firepaw, Fireheart, Firestar) gets his collar ripped off of him and then the sunlight shines on him and makes him look like fire. This is an amazing illustration and I would never be able to draw like this. Your pictures give me hope that one day I would be able to be as amazing as this, and I know i have alot of practice to do ; This is truly beautiful, and to include the poem is an amazing idea. I love your artwork, and I hope you keep up the good work

You are quite talented with such a program as MS Paint, and I think you can become even better with practice. I'll never forget that Umbreon, and the fact that you asked for critique. ^^ It's hard finding someone who asks for that, and you deserve aplause for it!

I'm glad i left a mark on your memory xD The only reason why i decided to attempt ms paint is that I can't afford photoshop or a proffesional art program.. also the fact that I have no patience for drawing and I prefer to work quickly But i can see that you spend a lot of time on your work. Amazing, as always, and I look foward to your next piece of art ;]

We've not PhotoShop either (if we did, I wouldn't know how to use it )

Yea, Ive tried a trial for photoshop and couldnt figure it out at all xDD I managed to draw an eye and thats about it xDD You're also very memorable and I love logging into DA to see that you've replied or commented on something You give me alot of hope to keep going and I thank you so much for that ^^

oh that poem was lovely ^_^ and makes the pictures stand out even more after you read it. i wish i had the vocabulary skills to complement your picture as much as you did for mine, so instead i decided to just say the usual, i'm really impressed with your abilities to color with colored pencils. i find it so difficult >.< and this vulpix is just adorable, especially with its pose..haha and the rich colors are so vibrant and subtle where they need to be
i'm trying my best here but i can't beat your comment XD so instead i'll just watch you like some kind of stalker, like i used to on your old account XP

I rather admire your skill with digital things, because I have trouble with things like MS Paint (>_<) and can't draw anything other than Voltorbs.

Actually, the black background probably took less time than anything else in the picture (But it killed the color pencil )
