Delight I'd never put to word, whose Songs I'd never heardWhose Greeting, fleeting as the Times, forever pass'd me by
Whose aureate shadow is the bliss we worship from the sky
Whose joy shan't seem absurd.
Of Happiness beyond our reach, whose shining Myth we preach
And never, ever shall the Joy, become a Lore of Past!
My truest wishes for the Hope whose Love shan't cease to last!
A lesson shall it teach.
Forever Sky shall smile of themes, of Freedom's wild blue beams
Whose glowing, growing auras of the celestial set and rise
Upon whose wings we'd journey to the world beyond the Skies
May Future share our Dreams.

I love everything to this picture : the concept itself of a Vulpix staring up, gazing at a source of light which seems almost "heavenly", along with the poem and its title "What we're Looking For" is great !
The coloring is so nice, so soft, and the texture renditions are amazing (even more considering this is traditionnal art !)...
The expression in Vulpix's eyes and on its face fits the overall idea so perfectly as well... so keep up the good job !

I love the traditional colors of this piece, the tones and hues are bright yet the shadows make the mystery and wonder of Vulpix's face light right up.
The dark lines of this picture really makes it liven up, I'd say they are my most favorite part, great great job.

My my this is amazing, You are very talented ^^ The coloring, of course, is phanomanal. Not a flaw.
As for the entire picture: Very touching. The poem you wrote combines beautifully with this masterpiece. It speaks about something that we all keep very close to our hearts, our dreams and desires. By making this vulpix staring to the sky shows all the wonderful possibilities that await out there in our future.
I really envy your talent. This is possibly one of the best works of art I've seen yet. Amazing

Did you know, however, that you were my greatest influence in the creation of this picture? I started with Growlithe staring into the sky (that art trade with you made me realize how awesome Growlithe was to draw) but it didn't work out for many reasons:
1. It didn't seem like the right Pokemon
2. I couldn't get the form right (I've drawn 1 Growlithe before, as compared to about 2 Vulpix)
And then, I thought that, as a "Fire Fox", Vulpix fit my theme perfectly (Even better than Ninetales, a more serious Pokemon). So I drew the picture nonstop for four hours yesterday, and when I finished, I realized the similarities it had to your "Within the Vortex". You have influenced me in such subtle and subconscious way, that has shaped the way I see the world. No matter what happens, I will always have proof that truly good people (like you) will always exist. It is astounding how much I have learned from you (although neither one of us may have realized it) and I sincerely thank you for being such a great friend.
