Some history: "Disgruntled robot" was originally a sentient customer interaction service-model employed by a grocery store. However, a defect in its personality programing resulted in it being rather rude to the customers it was made to serve. For its "employers", termination or deactivation was out of the question, as a sentient rights group had filed a crippling lawsuit for a previous deactivation of a sentient robot, given that it was the equivalent of murder.

Thus, said droid was only fired, and as a result is rather... well, you get the idea.
