Mei and Zarya demonstrate Blizzard's Copy-and-Paste approach to female body types as seen in Overwatch.Actually there was more to this tweet and I'm not sure if that's exactly what he meant but whatever I wanted to paint this anyway.

Ah yes, that tactic Blizzard is infamous for. Why, I say they are almost as bad as Activision or the COD developers. /s should not be needed but you never know these days.
Also, thank you for responding to McIntosh's BS; that guy seems to genuinely hate the gaming community and spews a lot of hateful comments and outright lies. I think his greatest offense was saying talking about the dead was not respectful when Bin Laden died but when Christopher Hitchens died this man practically danced on his grave. Between this and all the lies he tells, I'm genuinely glad to see people putting him in check and telling him how wrong he is. You are getting a fav just for that and a watch because you have some damn good art. Keep up the good work, man!

Sometimes I feel like various members of the twitterati are communicating across parallel universes. But then I realise that, no, confirmation bias is a hell of a drug, we're all in the same crapsack world and that I'm actually licking my own tears off my face.
Anyhow, I think you're being far too cynical. I mean, if you can't play a computer game with a character in it with a similar BMI to yourself, from where are you supposed to derive self esteem? Where, goddamn it? I mean there's no other way to self-actualise but through height-to-weight ratio, right? Son I asked you a direct question.
Incidentally, one of my old favourite characters was Lucy from Quake 3 (although basically the entire lineup is fantastic). She radiates vulgarity and bad attitude in a way that comports so beautifully with the rest of the game. She's not a role model, she's a character. Her physique just completes the package. id software have long understood that they are building worlds instead of kowtowing to the vagaries of our own. This is what happens when you get a bunch of people who get told 'hey, those kids shot up that school because of your game', and their reply is 'Not really'. People of character and verve.
