No. Both Peter and Gwen (spider-powered) moves to other universe to find out their each true love(s). (Peter lost his universe Gwen and she lost her Peter in her universe , dying for good).
They meet each other and starting to fall in love each other as they love their true lover.

I was more for the color scheme...black suit with red lining? Shadow the Hedgehog man. Besides Shadow Spider has some level of epic to it. There's Scarlet Spider-Man, Amazing Spider-Man, Superior...wait he was a lousy Spider-Man. Either that or Wolf Spider.

Nice job. I'm hoping they'll use Gwen in the MCU version. I've just never been a fan of MJ and just because it's in source material doesn't mean she HAS to be killed off.

I have no idea how they are going to approach it in the MCU, I suspect it will be MJ in order to distance them-self from the recent films as much as possible.

That does make a lot of sense, and I wouldn't mind if it was a really likeable actress (Not Kirsten Dunst). Also with I think this reboot would be a great opportunity to redesign the costume, even though I loved the suit in TASM 2.

Being a child of the TAS I feel the same but I've warmed to Gwen in the last few years partially because I love Emma Stone.
